Crispy Fish Dry Pot

Crispy fish dry pot (Gān Guō Cuì Yú, 干锅脆鱼) is a vibrant and fiery Sichuan or Hunan dish featuring crispy, deep-fried pieces of fish cooked with an assortment of vegetables in a spicy and aromatic dry pot sauce.

$

Boiled Sliced Fish in Spicy Chili Oil

Shui Zhu Yu (水煮鱼) in Sichuan cuisine. Despite its name, the fish is not fully boiled but is poached briefly in a rich, simmering broth and then drenched in sizzling hot oil to release the aroma of chilies and Sichuan peppercorns.

$

String Beans

They are most famously used in the Sichuan dish gān biǎn sì jì dòu (干煸四季豆), or Dry-Fried Green Beans, but also appear in many other flavorful stir-fries.

$

Chinese Cabbage Dry Pot

Chinese Cabbage Dry Pot (Gān Guō Bái Cài, 干锅白菜) is a Sichuan or Hunan dish. It highlights the tender sweetness of cabbage in a spicy, numbing, and savory stir-fry. Unlike hot pot, which uses a boiling broth, a dry pot is prepared entirely in a wok with little to no added liquid.

$

Stir Fried Eggplant & String Beans

Stir-fried eggplant and string beans is a classic Chinese dish known for its rich, garlicky, and slightly spicy flavor. The texture offers a pleasant contrast between the soft, tender eggplant and the blistered, wrinkled green beans.

$

Tofu with Salted Eggs

Salted egg tofu is a popular Southeast Asian dish featuring crispy fried tofu coated in a rich, creamy, and savory sauce made from mashed, cured duck egg yolks.

$

Mapo Tofu with Beef

Mapo tofu is a popular and spicy Sichuan Chinese dish consisting of silken tofu, minced beef, and a fiery, aromatic, bright-red sauce. Its complex flavor is known for its signature málà taste—the characteristic numbing spice of Sichuan cuisine.

  • Food and service was very good! Wasn't aware they had a makeover, but still has very good, calm atmospehere. Server was very nice and on top of everything, food came out fairly quick as well! The takoyaki is amazing, highly recommend it!

  • Dining at this restaurant is sort of like playing the lottery. If the staff is able to interpret your order, it's a 10/10 experience. If the staff is unable to interpret your order, it's a 1/10 experience. My partner and I have happily spent ~$40 here on jaw-droppingly delicious food, but we've also begrudgingly forked over ~$40 here in exchange for two bowls of soup rendered inedible due to spice-level miscommunications. On multiple occasions, one of us has received ramen that was extremely spicy upon requesting mild, and the other has received ramen that was extremely bland upon requesting spicy. Introducing a simple spice-level scale, understood equally by all employees, could help alleviate these entirely avoidable miscommunications. 1- Not Spicy | 2 - Little Spicy | 3 - Medium Spicy | 4 - Very Spicy | 5 - Extremely Spicy The pictures are from our favorite visit, which was impeccable due to proper communication. This bowl of Mizu Chicken Ramen was easily the best ramen I've ever eaten.

  • One person was working the whole front of the establishment. She did a wonderful job and was very nice considering the circumstances. The food is more a 4.5 only because I was after Tai spicy and it wasn't spicy. Other than that, the ramen and appetizers were delicious. Didn't get pictures of them because they were immediately eaten. Would go back again.

  • Friday evening, not too busy, one person was host, wait staff, and cashier. That being said, and our party was not in a huge hurry, the food was worth the wait! We each ordered a different ramen, all were excellent, and the portion was enough to take home for another meal.

  • Tried this place with my bestie. This was my first authentic ramen experience. I would say the prices were a bit steeper than I expected. Yet the service was great, the ramen was very good, and the fruit bubble tea was a very fun experience. It is good to see a restaurant different than the usual. Plan on returning to let my daughter and husband try it out!
